Join the Band!

If you play a band instrument, or used to play one, we encourage you to consider joining the band. We are open to musicians of all levels. Our only requirements are the ability to read music and the ability to work with others in an ensemble.

We rehearse weekly on Tuesday evenings throughout the year, with a short break in the spring and a longer break in the summer between our marching and concert band seasons. Our Purple Passion swing band rehearses separately as needed according to their performance schedule.

Strings Wanted!

In December 2010, RCB was excited to premier its own orchestra! Now we need you to help us grow!
The Rainbow City Orchestra (RCO) is a non-audition community orchestra offering string musicians the opportunity to perform in a friendly and supportive environment within the LGBTQ and allied community. Welcoming musicians of all experience levels, our only requirements are the ability to read music and the desire to work with others.
As with RCB, our goals are to develop and sustain our musical talent, develop long-lasting friendships, and to have fun doing it all.
